How much of how Hitchcock behaved as an adult can be traced back to his childhood? I know that I have read several stories in the past about how he would stay on the actresses' cases who starred in his films and that it was a wonder that any of them chose to work with him again. Do you find this valuable?

Curious. . . I have read the same. Maybe we need some Freudian input here lol. Was he tormented by his mum and felt the need to take it out on the females who worked with him in subsequent years? Do you find this valuable?
