how accurate was he

I have read a great deal of Sigmund Freud's studies throughout the course of my life and various courses that I have been involved with, yet I am still not sure why so many of his theories are based around sexuality. I am not so sure that I agree with the basis for many of his principles, although the research and development that he did in the venue of talk therapy has grown and helped a number of people throughout the years. Do you think that his theories still ring true today? Do you find this valuable?

Honestly I think that his accuracy was more of a novelty than a true science. Some of his research was spot on, but the old saying a Blind dog will find a bone apply's very well in my opinion. Do you find this valuable?

So you think that the talk therapy mode of treatment would have evolved even without the research and contributions of Freud? Do you think that would have been practiced by many of his contemporaries or if would have taken several more years for this method to grow? Do you find this valuable?
