Very Odd Work indeed.

I find Dali to be both intriguing ad repulsive in his work. Most images are both light and dark and therefor intriguing and non-intriguing all at once.
To say that his work is an enigma to me would be short-sighted, maybe just maybe I do not fully appreciate his style.
Do you find this valuable?

I think that the work of Dali is some of the most difficult to appreciate and understand, but I am not trained in the artistic vein. I appreciate that others value his work but to me some of the paintings and imagery are downright strange. Can anyone better explain his theory to me? Do you find this valuable?

He lived thru a time of great change and I feel that much of this is reflected in his work. His contributions are going to be far reaching in the artistic community for many years to come. Love it ir leave it but you cannot deny his influence on others. Do you find this valuable?

Wasn't he one of the creators of either Cubism or Dadaism? What are the differences between these schools of art? Do you find this valuable?
